INLINE HOCKEY ACADEMY
We aim to introduce players to the game of Inline Hockey in a fun and family friendly environment.
Players will learn the fundamental skills of Inline Hockey as well as valuable life skills through attending our Academy. No equipment is needed, we will provide you with equipment for your first term to help you get started. |
HEAD COACH: Geoff HoweGeoff began hockey as a 21 year old and has now been playing for over 20 years.
He has represented Victoria on a number of times and has played in the pro hockey league (PHL). He has over 15 years of coaching experience at Stadium 34 with both junior and senior players, including a role as head coach for the Gippsland Gators for a number of years. Geoff firmly believes that the role of a coach is not only to teach hockey but to assist the development of life skills such as self-discipline, self-control, sportsmanship and leadership skills. |
HEAD COACH: Martha SmithMartha has been playing inline hockey for 18 years .
She has represented Victoria and Australia a number of times in both junior and senior women teams and has traveled all over the world! Martha has been playing hockey at Stadium 34 for 16 of those 18 years and calls it 'my home'. When she is not playing hockey, Martha works as a family day care educator in Warragul. She loves working with children and finds teaching them to play hockey very rewarding! |
