Scott McKenzie

Scott’s involvement with Basketball spans almost 40 years in the Gippsland region, having
represented several local towns both as a player and coach. For the past 10-12 years Scott’s
focus was with Basketball Victoria Country, coaching within the various junior programs
including Skills Days, Academy Programs, Jamboree, AJCBC, Gold Nugget and culminating in an Assistant Coaching role at 2 National Championships.

More recently, since 2018, Scott has been a part of the Casey Cavaliers Big V Championship
Men’s program as an Assistant Coach. His role with Casey was varied and included conducting
and preparing training sessions, individual player development sessions, opposition scouting,
game day coaching and player recruiting.
